T&T: Fly Bridge Guages

My first post to the list! Been following for some time - great resource!

My question relates to installing engine guages on my Marine trader 40
fly-bridge. The original engine was replaced with a Cat 3116. Only single
station VDO guages were installed at the lower helm. I have nothing on
the bridge where I prefer to helm. Cat has not been helpful in my quest
to install upper helm guages as the replacement ones were not Cat. Does
anyone have any suggestions - I believe I have to replace the on-engine
sending units - do they have to be Cat? Any help/direction would be
appreciated.
