Yes, the SR162 AIS receiver imported by Milltech Marine works
quite well, and makes life much more relaxed.  It also helps
ease the Admiral's mind as well as the Captain's  <VBG>  It is
pretty much plug and play with both Coastal Explorer and
Nobeltec.  On some computers depending on the port software, you
may have to assign the port manually, but that is about.  Then
just adjust your collision limits (time and distance)as
appropriate for the area you are sailing in (harbor or ocean.)

N.B.  Like any electronic equipment - you need to not rely
blindly on it.  It relies on the sending vessel inputting the
correct data.  Most often failure is the ships heading input -
so the ship appears on your screen to be going 15 knots
sideways!
