Jeffrey, you definitely picked a bad or disinterested machine shop! A good
shop can make ANY thread left and right without any trouble. I don't know how
many of those I have made in my time. I really wish I had a lathe. Ofcourse
making a nut takes a little more knowledge than just cutting a straight
thread, and knowing how to grind a tool steel to match.
