I honestly haven't listened to the VHF weather channels in about 3 years.
It's one of the huge advantages of having a smartphone - one favorite away
and a couple of location selections gives me the text of ONLY the marine
forecast for a particular area. There's no waiting around for it and you
get to see the text (...did they say the winds were going to be North or
East tomorrow?).
NOAA has quick text version of all their forecasts. No graphics or fluff -
just the text.
Get to it from:
http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/marine/marinewxi.htm
Click "Bay and Coastal" next.
Select your area.
Voila...
