Hi Brian,
I suspect that at the end of the day, you may well find that it is just as
practical to simply buy a new motor. Here is a link to one that would do

On the other hand, you could take the motor to an appliance repair shop and
they might have suitable brushes available. I have no connection with the
Ebay seller, as he apparently sells the Octopus line of reversing autopilot
motors that are made in Canada.
