T&T: autopilot pump motor failure

Greetings list,
My a/p is a Comnav 1001 using a 12v permanent magnet reversing pumpset.
The motor that drives the pump has quit having cooked the brushes. Of course,
there are no markings on the motor with serial numbers, rpm,
hp rating etc, so just googling the replacement is out of the question.
Comnav is silent on the subject.
The only info on the Comnav sticker on the motor says: 60in3/min.
The motor also uses around 4 amps at 12v.
I am thinking the only option here is to take the motor in and have it
rebuilt. While I can find motors that are approx the same physical size
as this one, I have no way to determine rpm and can only guess at the
fractional HP.
Any advise would be appreciated.
