T&T: T&T as forum?

And there you have it.  Thanks for the kind words, Marin.  You nailed it and
that was basically the reason we started Trawlerforum.com.  I think it also a
place where you can expose a little bit more of yourself without being
reprimanded.  You can post pictures of your boat.  You can post pictures of
yourself or your wife or your dog.  There have been people with problems that
they could not explain, so they posted a picture and then everyone could see
what they are talking about.  You could do a step-by-step tutorial of an
install that someone is asking about...compplete with pictures.  The forum
format I think has way more advantages than an email format and our particular
format is not really bandwidth intensive.  As far as "being exposed to
subjects you would not even think of..", that could also be the case in a
forum format.  You don't even have to click on it if it does not interest
you.  I do understand people that have bandwidth
 issues while cruising.  Heck, I just found out today that we have a digest 
function on the forum(I found this out becasue someone was having issues with
it).  www.trawlerforum.com   Give it a try.  You don't even have to register. 
Just click on the link and then click on the subject area and click on the
topic of interest.  How difficult is that.  We do have some regular
contributors over there but it would be great if we had more.  It would give
us a little positive re-inforcement for the time and money we have spent on
it.

PS...I will make a little bit better effort of getting over here more often. 
I fear logging onto this email account for the number of emails that I have to
sift thru and delete.  You wouldn't have to do that on a forum...:-)
