T&T: "the best" AC system?

I have not run my GB42 in the south Florida waters, but our water here in
Panama City can run to nearly 90 degrees in the summer, generally
indistinguishable from S FL weather.

We run two 16 kBtu units, and the aft cabin can get downright cold in the
summer. One unit (marine Air) is a package (installed 1990) under the
settee blowing into the aft head and into the main cabin with an adjustable
vents to control flow in either direction. We keep the head door open into
the aft cabin until it gets too cold - then I push it closed with my foot).
The second unit (cruise Air installed 2004) is a split unit with air handler
in the main cabin cabinetry on the port side.

We do not cool the forward cabin unless somebody is sleeping there and it is
done using a small fan to blow air in.

Each unit has its own water pump and inlet. If you were having trouble
cooling a GB42 with similarly sized units, I'd say there was a maintenance
issue some place.
