i agree, if the pump is big enough, you shoudl have enough flow.  I have 4 
condensing units on one 1600gph pump, plenty of flow.

the advantage of having dedicated pumps is that you dont' loose all your 
cooling/heating if the pump fails. BUT you add more seacocks, strainers and 
possible problems.  I prefer having a spare pump on board than extra holes 
in the hull....
