Bruce, I definitely agree that your should talk to Kadey Krogen...why
reinvent the wheel. I also agree that split systems are the way to go.
On my Krogen (4218), the compressors were in the engine room with one air
handling unit in the galley trash bin venting aft and the other under the
dash in the PH. PH AHU did double duty by venting into the staterooms below
(there was a hollow bulkhead between the SRs accessible from above which,
upon adding vents, required no further ductwork to feed both SRs, Krogen
will furnish details). We could close the vents in either location as
required.
Good luck! On those hazy hot and humid days, if the marina frowns on skinny
dipping, you gotta have A/C.
