Ron,
I have the M402 and can verify that it can transmit your coordinates. I
don't have the manual in front of me so I can't confirm wire colors. I
recommend you download the manual from Icom and read the DSC info. Here's
the link to the d/l;

Subject: T&T: ICOM VHF and DSC connection to plotter
Does anyone have a VHF radio Icom- IC IC-M402? I know it transmits DSC MMSI
code but does it at the same time transmit my GPS position if I connect to
my Standard Horizon CP300 GPS plotter output (brown, yellow wires) which
apparently default to NMEA 0183? And I assume the inner wire on the ICOM RCA
jack is the positive NMEA input? Any feedback much appreciated. Thanks.
