T&T: Northwest passage

Although I do not know much about the northwest passage, I do know about the
climate I the polar region.

A good friend of mine, and former coworker in Air Greenland and still
working there as a captain for the airline, called me one day on Skype and
asked me one question: What is all this talk about Global warming? He said:
The temperature had been to a coolish minus MINUS 87 degrees celcius!! He
flies the Dash 7 for the airline and one of the routes he flies is from Nuuk
to Goose Bay in Canada. He said that the ice was solid between Greenland and
Canada. You could walk all the way across. Would probably need more than a
lunch bag!!

North West Passage open? Probably not this year.
