T&T: seitch to synthetic

At long last, I'm getting ready to cut Cigano over to her GCF O-1 bypass
filters on each main and the genset. Anticipating fewer, if any, oil changes
I'm looking to switch over to synthetic oil. If I do an oil change, will the
remaining petroleum based oil be compatible with the added synthetic? Should I
do another, early, oil change to further dilute the petroleum based oil? Does
it make any difference?
