No extra pump is required.  I had the same setup on my 80' Dutch  
fishing trawler and the auto pilot head just wired to the solenoids.   
Any hydraulic shop can help you or talk to a commercial auto pilot  
manufacturer, like ComNav in British Columbia, which I know is very  
experienced with your setup.
