Select several manufacturers based upon features and reputation. Then call 
at least two and listen to their recommendations. They will want to know the 
size in cubic inches of your hydraulic ram. If the cubic insch dimension is 
not on the ram, measure the ram and measure its throw.

Supply any information you have on the pump as well. They'll ask about the 
size of the rudder and hull characteristics. You can start with Simrad and 
COMNAV. If you have Furuno gear, check Furuno as well. The first two 
manufacturers have models specifically for slow-moving trawlers.
