gallons of city water is going to get out of solution that fast, especially if
the tank remains full?"
I don't. Chlorine will dissipate in a swimming pool but that is from exposure
to the sunlight. I can taste and smell the chlorine in my tanks for weeks.
BTW, Chloramines are an accidental by-product of a chemical reaction in a
swimming pool. They are part of the reason that the pools smells "like
chlorine" and your eyes sting. That and pH. In pools, we don't want
chloramines.
