I just went through this on my Marine Trader. Before you trash the head
check all the waste piping. I had a blockage in one head, totally tore it
down and still
Couldn't get it to flush. Turns out that my discharge piping was packed
with dead sea water growth!!! It's like a hard brown sand. I had to actually
beat the piping
With a hammer to break it up and flush it out. (Did this outside the boat).
I could not even get a rod through the piping the stuff was so hard and
compact. Once you
Go through this and talk to boaters, it's common on sea water flushers. I've
been told to put a cup of white vinegar down the head once a month.
If you have any check valves other than the joker valve in the head, look
inside these too.
Best of luck,
Jim
