Been using the fiberglass tanks for a couple years now and they are GREAT.
Here's their site: http://www.litecylinder.com/ They are available from
several suppliers for around $100.
Here's a testimonial. I gave one to a friend who used it on his barbecue
pit, a rusted out, old mess. They were grilling chicken and smoked sausage
and the grease began to drip down onto the cylinder unbeknownst to them. You
guessed it, a spark fell down and they raced to the porch to find a raging
conflagration coming from what appeared to be a flame thrower belching fire
from the burnt through hose. They were able to put it out and they took a
look at the tank. The plastic handles were melted off and the case was
burned but the tank itself showed absolutely no damage. They are light,
tough and safe. Don't know what would have happened to an aluminum tank.
Oh, and you can see the height of the contents through the glass.
Thanks for the post; reminds me I need to fill my tanks today.
Regards,
Larry and Teri
