T&T: 8D Batteries

I love all this battery info.  I'm really getting educated.  Bad thing is that I'm lazy and what I have is working for me, so all I want to do is replace my 4 8D flooded batteries with new batteries.  Do anyone have a suggestion for a particular brand or model flooded 8D deep cycle battery that is the best bag for the buck?  I keep hearing from retailers in our area that I can't get a DEEP CYCLE flooded 8D battery.  I don't really believe it. They keep talking to about cold cranking amps and I can't get them away from that.  I don't want to spend the money for the Rolls, so there must be a alternate selection with lots of lead that will work for five years or so, without spending my son's college money!  Thanks for your ideas!
