T&T: Yep more about Florida taxes and FWC

I cannot answer for the FWC, but when we sailed from California to Florida, 
we didn't get the Florida Sticker in Pensacola for about 3 months--again the 
understanding of all was that we had 3 months to get the registration.

Since I had owned the boat more than 6 months they didn't even ask for proof 
of having paid tax in California.

I suspect that they would be glad to sell you a Florida sticker--without 
paying any tax, and perhaps???they would accept the tax statement 
considering that Calif. Does not issue documents.  Also the statement is 
correct about paying possessory interest tax on the water under the leased 
slip.

In my next exchange of E-mails with Capt Richard, I will pose that question.
