T&T: Diesel fuel future costs

I think we'll all find the price of fuel much more of a problem then what we
spend to fuel our boats. My dive boat prices will have to be raised which
will again put some customers off and lessen the people willing to pay the
addtional price of the trip. As far as my next years plans go I'll be taking
my Hatt back to the keys from New Jersey. The fuel price will be an issue as
I expect i'll be paying at least four dollars a gallon. Where will the money
come from? First more anchoring out = less money to marinas along the way.
Less time stopping and eating at a local place. Of course i'll need to save
some more money while at home so less eatting out, less "fun" nights out. Of
course the other things we all "waste" money doing will also come under the
gun. But i'm going and yes I'll cry every time I fuel up. I believe fuel
prices have even impacted the sale (or no sale) of my hatt, I wished to get
a different boat. Since it didn't sell I'll just take it. So no broker fees
(income to them). The fuel price is impacting way more then just boatting
travel plans. But I hate to say it but even if it hits five dollars a gallon
we'll be going, although in a different manner then we have in the past.
