T&T: Multiple 12 Volt power outlet

I am in need of ideas for a 12V power center with multiple outlets...the cig 
lighter type.  This would be for cell phones, handheld gps, handheld VHF 
radio, fan, computer, etc.   I have one outlet at each end of the boat, but 
one serves for the TV when needed and the other at the helm is not enough.
In the past I have used the common splitter type on a cord and the adapter 
with two to one, but feel that is  not what I need this time.  I found some 
single outlets that I could fabricate a quad center with but I would 
appreciate ideas.
What have you done for this situation?
