T&T: A FEW POINTS

My response:  Eric, I can give you two good reasons.  First, your primary
responsibility is to your own crew.  Second, to your own boat.  The last
thing needed in an emergency situation is more victims. Only when I can meet
those two conditions will I offer direct assistance.  Communications
assistance is always appropriate.
