T&T: Cruise ship docking

Speaking of Princess.  I was on one of their cruises from Tahiti to Hawaii. While anchored off of Christmas Island, the captain was able to keep the ship broadside to the chop with his stern thrusters so the passengers could embark and disembark the tenders shipside while in its lee for their trip ashore.  He was able to do this all day.
