T&T: floscan senders

When I thought I was going cruising pretty quick, I purchased a floscan FF
system for my Yanmar twins. The yard dry fit the senders and later plumbed
them in to the fuel system. Recently my list of things to do arrived to the
point that I could wire in the system Did that this week Saw the tachs working
last night. Looked today and no fuel flo. Looks like the senders are all 4
bad. Can't think FS shipped me bad senders so I suspect dir daubers got to
them in storage or as they sat in the engine room before plumbing.

The FS techie gave me a method of cleaning them out with carburetor cleaner.
Is anyone familiar with the internal workings of these senders? Any ideas?
Don't want to buy 4 new ones at $180 per if I don't have to.
