T&T: air ducts

Well, here I go again, using T&T as a crutch. I have two problems which call
for a similar solution. Bound to be some wise soul who's discovered the
elegant solution.
My drier has a 4" vent and on the port side of my vessel are 2 x 3" overboard
nts. At the moment I have a reducer from 4 to 3 but it takes forever to dry
the clothes due to low air flow. I'd like to split the 4 into 2 threes,
doubling the airflow. Any simple ideas?
Second involves something I brought up a couple months ago. I thought I had a
good idea, ducting 2 AC/heat vents into the aft stateroom and one into the
head to prevent condensation during showers. Well, the AC's have to work
really hard to keep the stateroom cool and with heat, the head is almost hot
while the heaters are still trying to warm up the stateroom.
Units use 3" hose. Decided I could install a wye with normally 3 vents in the
aft stateroom and one in the head, the one in the head having a patented, home
made shut off valve. Now, once again, any ideas on how to split the 3" hose?
