Up here in the great white north  we have to do it a bit differently. <VBG>
Make sure the winter covers are supported by strong 2X 6 timbers to carry
the snow load. (Brother in law lost his boat last year when the roof
collapsed)

Make sure the wood shed is filled with at least 4 full cords of wood, 
service the snow blower. (Wazzat you say? - its a kind of jet ski on
wheels that throws water in the frozen form instead of liquid form)

Woke up this morning to  12" - 14" of the white stuff.  Whereas southern
cruisers delight in a tender with a 25 HP outboard we delight in a 25 HP
snow blower. <VBG>  Count your blessings.
