T&T: HDTV antenna

I have good results with a Radio Shack UHF antenna
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103088

Have it mounted with stainless steel band style clamps to a vertical dock
support pole at our marina about 7' above the dock. We are 40 miles line of
sight from the towers and it picks up but needs the external amp to perform
at it's best under all weather conditions.

The little UFO style on our radar arch would work too ... but would break up
and loose signal frequently depending on weather. It needed an additional
internal AMP to work also. 40 miles however is REALLY pushing the limit for
that style antenna.

Good luck,

Bob H
