REPLY: This is a Carver 39 in question, which I believe has twin gas  
engines. 'whole different animal by far from the Monk; I'd guess no  
more than 1MPG.

As for trucking, Rich bought this boat to fulfill his cruising dream.  
Why skip this great cruise from RI to TX? Wait a few months and have  
the time of your life!
