T&T: New public dock to open in the San Juan islands, WA

IMHO one would be foolish to leave a vessel of any size at this dock. Even 
with stout defense by a muscle bound dock party, your boat is seriously at 
risk. Yes, the passing vessels are the contributors, but not the only cause. 
Current, wind exposure, the ferry are all causes and one can't fault vessels 
for wanting to transit this area promptly as the traffic issues in the 
fairway are also a concern. Wave action is enough to put a chine on the bull 
rail.
