T&T: Best top coat

Not to hijack the discussion, but I have a alum. casting on my mast (43 hatt 
dc) I've repainted the wood part and would like to repaint the casting with 
the same interlux paint  (one part). The casting is stripped and glass 
beaded, any sugestions as to primer under the paint? Thanks Bill
