I guess I was the guy that introduced the List to Magnum last fall.  
Search the archives for extensive posts on the subject. I have a full  
suite of their system: MS4024, Battery Monitor Kit ( BMK)  and Auto  
generator start (AGS). Pretty slick. I've run well over 20,000 amp  
hours through it . You owe it to yourself to also look at the  
Victrons, which came in a close second in my search and are arguably  
more advanced in their technology. The customer service I have  
received from Magnum has been superb.

  I will never buy a Xantrex product given my own and others  
experience with their after-the-sale service. Xantrex is in the  
process of being sold to Schneider (http://www.xantrex.com/web/did/ 
1856/readnews.asp) but its too soon to tell what impact that will have.
