Tom's belief in big government is wildly misplaced. What was the last
thing they did, oh yes, ethanol subsidies which has ruined thousands of
fiberglass tanks in boats, uses more energy to produce than it saves, and
has unexpectedly driven up food prices and has to be transported via
truck ratgher than pipeline..

Tom needs to promote sane alternatives, ones which make economic sense,
like drilling in Alaska and offshore where we likely have two hundred
years of oil supply right here at home. And removing barriers to new
refining plants.....Unfortunately he is mired in the global warming myth,
which nature will not likely reveal to be a farce for another ten or
twenty years.
