T&T: Generator Problem

Sounds like a shut down system issue..maybe a bad sensor as posted.

Check operating temp under normal load with an infrared
thermometer...they are a GREAT diagnostic tool. Is the temp you see with
the infrared at the specified temp??? That's how I found my old Onan was
running thirty degrees hot...clogged heat exchanger was the cause...then
you can bypass any temp shutdown sensor and be SURE it's the sensor and
not the actual temperature causing the problem...

Another possibility is a bad connection...a loose wire or broken
wire....they can cause strange intermittent problems....It does NOT sound
like a fuel issue...
