T&T: No power to Lofrans

Ron,

One or more of four things are wrong...no power, poor connection
somewhere, solenoid or winch not working...work them one by one...

if you have a voltmeter, check to see there is power thru your safety
device...fuse or circuit breaker....to the solenoid control. if you don't
have a voltmeter, test with a lightbulb and wire on the supply side of
the solenoid to ground.....(bulb lights, there is power)

OR if you know you have power, by pass the solenoid with a moderate size
wire by touching input (supply) and output (up or down) and see if the
winch turns over...just don't by pass from positive to a GROUND wire!!! 
If winch turns, solenoid is bad or bad connection there; if winch doesn't
turn, winch or bad connection there....
