Ken,
The true philosophical question is "How many angels can dance on the POINT of
a pin?" The topic was engendered by medieval scholastic thinkers confronting
the conflicting ideas that a point had zero area and angels had zero
dimension. The answers given ranged from one (i.e., 0/0 = 1) to Avogadro's number (a
conclusion favored by my old professor of chemistry).
My boat gets launched in a couple of weeks and I can start wondering about
the number of miles I can cruise as fuel prices approach infinity.
