T&T: Wire Myth--ABYC standards

ABYC membership is only $245 a year--and this includes the standards in soft
back form--yes you could pay as much as $3000 or so in individual down loads
if you were not a member.  ABYC does set standards that for the most part
increase boating safety and creat a better product for the recreational
boater.  The first thing I did when I purchased a new boat was to bring it up
to ABYC standards--and encouraged the company to become NMMA certified--it
took the company over a year to do so, but made a better product.
