T&T: Automatic/Manual Inflatable Live Vest

I replaced the inflatable vest for my mate which was 10 years old and no 
longer eligible to be re-certified by the maker. The original ones use the 
presence of moisture to automatically deploy the vest. I discovered that 
some of the newer models are hydrostatic. It does not matter how wet a 
hydrostatic vest gets. It will only deploy if it actually goes under water.

It looked to me that Mustang was a quality brand.

We are getting ready for the up coming boating season, and am in need of some
advise from the enlightened masses.  We want to purchase inflatable life vest
to be used with both the mother boat, and the dinghy.  We would like to get
the type that inflate automatically, & manual.
