One suggestion, whatever make you select - you should carry a recharge
kit so that you can recharge the pfd should you have to use it (or
have a guest (child?) "accidently" activate it. You should also
inspect the pfd regularly to be sure that it hasn't discharged without
you knowing.
(and I _must_ buy a recharge kit for mine...)
