I also made a prop puller that has worked well for me. I took a large
C-clamp, ground the screw to a point that would fit the end of the shaft &
ground a notch in the end of the clamp the same radius as the shaft. Simply
slide the notched end in front of the prop, place the point of the screw
onto the shaft & tighten. If you get it tight enough one tap of a hammer
will pop it right off. Takes about 20 minutes to make & it works! I've
even used it under water.
