T&T: i am looking for anyone who has painted a white hull with a dark color

I had my last sailboat painted black over a previously white hull with a 2 
part polyurethane paint.  I used a U.S. Paint product.  I prepped the boat 
myself & had 2 coats sprayed on with wet sanding in between.  I had the boat 
for over 10 years after that, in Florida, & never had a problem.  In fact I 
thought the topsides looked just as good when I sold her as when she was 
first painted.
