T&T: Portable space heaters

Bob,
We used an old fashioned round kerosene space heater while we worked on our Albin in Rochester in the winter...and during our early spring trip to Ct.
We also used it at home for one winter to keep the TV room toasty warm.
It worked well.
However, it does soot things up a little bit, esp when it is running on low.
But it is safe and CO was never an issue that we knew of.
If you want to borrow it on your way N as you run by Mystic you are welcome to use it.
Jay

.
Any thoughts about or experience with non-electric portable space
heaters operating on small propane bottles or kerosene?
