T&T: Portable space heaters

I forgot to put in my previous post that because the "Buddy" propane  
heater sits on the floor, it puts a fair amount of its heat onto the  
floor in front of it.  So we set the heater in a flat oven tray  
(cookie pan?) with most of the tray out in front of the heater.  This  
protects the parquet floor from the heat.
