T&T: requirement to enter Canada

Canada is pretty lenient as to personal documentation to enter. Re-entering
the  US of A for American citizens on the other hand can range from pain in
the arse to worse. Best have a passport. If you will be taking a pet into
Canada you (the pet)will need a current health certificate from the vet
dated less than one month old. If the pet is a pit bull, you can not bring
it into the country.
