Assuming the original writer was referring to 8 BU USA, it is equal to 
$8000USD or $7920CAD. Note that for the first time in 35 years the Canadian 
Dollar is worth more than the US Dollar. I wonder why that is?

It makes looking at my 2002 edition of Skipper Bob's booklet on doing the 
Canadian canals very painful. He writes that the season pass will be $300 
Canadian which is only $200 US, heh, heh, heh. NOw it'll cost $303 US.

And "be sure to pay the St Lawrence Seaway Locktender with a Canadian $20, 
instead of a US $20", no longer works.
