T&T: A Good Book

I just finished reading "In Peril" by Skip Strong. It's about the captain of a
688 ft oil tanker who, when no one else would, responded to a mayday from a
tug pulling a NASA shuttle fuel tank. 

Imagine a tanker that big maneuvering close to a tug and tow, getting a line
on, and pulling them off the Florida coast. It led to the largest salvage
award (at least at the time....Doug?).

Coincidently, I got a powerpoint presentation today that included a photo of
another fuel tank being towed.

Got the book from Amazon, used, for about $5.

I'll send the NASA photo to anyone who asks off list.

Anyway, an interesting read.
