T&T: Apelco 265 Fish Finder Replies

Thanks all for your off list replies to my Apelco 265 post.  I should have mentioned that the biggest reason that I don't want a new unit is that I have to pull a new transducer cable up 'the pipe' from the engine room.  Since the pipe is already full, I hesitate to disturb what is now working in this 35 year old wire bundle....  I had a hydraulic leak in the steering that caused hydraulic oil to permeate the whole wiring bundle in 'the pipe' too.  Just another reason to not to disturb that mess.  Besides that, I'm basically lazy!  :)
