T&T: 2stroke vs 4stroke, was dinghy outboard recommendations

Just got back from our annual Catalina trip. We spent five days on a mooring
in Avalon and our twenty-five year old 2 H.P. two stroke Mariner outboard
performed flawlessly. We paid $313.00 for it in 1982, and certainly got our
money's worth. As an aside, two stroke outboards cannot be purchased in
California but  boaters are driving to Arizona to buy them.
