Liens in Florida are governed by chapter 713, Florida Statutes. You can
look up the specifics at:

Look under Part II -- miscellaneous liens. Part I is what you would think
of as mechanics liens, but applies only to work or services on real
property).

Section 713.56 provides a lien for persons working on "or with any engine"
or "machine."

Section 713.60 provides for a lien for labor on vessels.

Section 713.64 provides a lien for furnishing material for vessels (but
appears to be limiter to a chandler, storekeeper or dealer).

Section 713.78 provides a lien for recovering, towing or storing vessels
(but looks like you have to be in the business of so doing).

713.73 provides for priority (first in time wins).

Section 328.15 covers the required notice of lien details.

Good luck.
