T&T: I'm not vain, it's a vane question.

I decided to change thw impellers in my raw water pumps in preparation for our
trip to AL this fall.  The new impellers have 10 vanes.  The old port side had
8 while the stbd had 10.  Both now have new 10 vane impellers.  I have not had
any temp issues in the past and was just wondering what difference it makes.
Engines are Perkins 6-354T w/ Jabsco 9700-001 pumps.  Book says I now have the
right impeller.
